iOS 16 - first connection

Before connecting an iOS 16 device for the first time you need to Enable Developer Mode.

If the Developer Mode is missing, You need to connect the device to a mac machine and open →  Xcode → Window → Devices and Simulators

Please refer to the steps mentioned here - Additional Steps For Connecting iOS 16 Device

iOS 15 and 16 with passcode

We recommend not setting authentication for unlocking iOS 15.x and 16.x.

This includes passcode, TouchID, and FaceID.

Setting an authentication will require the user to authenticate each run issued by our automation environment, and thus will need manual user approval.

iOS 15.6 beta 2 (19G5037d) on iPad Pro (1st gen) 9.7-inch

The iOS 15.6 beta 2 (19G5037d) version doesn't work on iPad Pro (1st gen) 9.7-inch against the cloud.
We recommend not to update devices of this model to iOS 15.6 beta 2.

  • Opening app-switcher on devices without home button via swipe down.
Java Example
client.setDragStartDelay(50);
client.swipe("Down", 0, 2000);
  • No labels
